Allergen Information

Last updated: 9 June 2026

Our approach

We take allergens seriously. Every member of our team is trained in allergen awareness as part of our accredited training programme, and we're happy to talk through the menu with you before you order.

Before you visit

If you have a severe allergy or intolerance, please contact us before your visit at hello@130primrose.org so we can plan ahead with you.

The 14 major allergens

Under UK Food Information Regulations, we are required to declare the presence of the following 14 allergens:

  • Celery
  • Cereals containing gluten (including wheat, rye, barley, oats)
  • Crustaceans (including prawns, crab, lobster)
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Lupin
  • Milk
  • Molluscs (including clams, mussels, oysters, squid)
  • Mustard
  • Peanuts
  • Sesame
  • Soybeans
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
  • Tree nuts (including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios)

Dish-level allergen information

Detailed allergen information for current menu items is available from our team on request. Because our menus change seasonally, we keep this information up to date verbally rather than publishing a static list that may become out of date.

Please ask your server — they will be happy to go through any dish with you before you order.

Cross-contamination

While we take all reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a life-threatening allergy, please discuss this with us before dining.
